County of Simcoe delivers a wide variety of programs and services to local residents and businesses ensuring residents’ needs are met by allocating the limited resources available to the County to the best use. The County of Simcoe is a dynamic community that continues to experience tremendous growth. With growth, the municipality is faced with delivering core services to an expanding demand, enhancing programs and services to address community feedback, while balancing the financial burden on the taxpayers as there are only limited sources of funding available to support the services used by residents every day.
This challenge is addressed annually through budget deliberations as Council decides on the overall level of services and the types of programs, infrastructure and long-term investments necessary to support a growing community while preserving a valued lifestyle affordable to residents of Simcoe County.
