File of Life
The County of Simcoe Paramedic Service’s File of Life Program is a re-design of the original “Vial of Life” initiative and is intended to provide Emergency Responders with quick access to their patient’s pertinent medical information in the event of an emergency.
The file is a magnetized pocket that should be placed on your refrigerator door. The file will be easy to locate and will ensure Emergency Responders have better information on medical issues in the event that the patient is unable to provide it themselves. The File of Life Program has been funded by the County of Simcoe Paramedic Services’ PAD Program.
File of Life packets can be obtained from Customer Service at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre, 1110 Highway 26, Midhurst, ON. You may also obtain them from Paramedic Services staff or by attending one of our Public Relations events.
