Age-Friendly Framework

The County of Simcoe (the County), in support of its aging population, has chosen to develop an Age-Friendly Community framework for the communities that reside within its geographical area.

Success will depend on collaboration and coordination among many partners and stakeholders within Simcoe County. To better understand the issues related to aging, we would like to invite seniors to become involved.

How You Can Get Involved:

Two levels of involvement are highlighted below. These criteria are intended to guide the planning process by involving seniors along the way towards developing the County's Age-Friendly Community framework.

You can become involved by selecting one of the following levels*:

  • Level 1 – Become a member of the Age-Friendly Advisory Committee
  • Level 2 – Participate by Providing Feedback
If you would like us to come out to meet with your group, please contact Tracy Hill at (705) 726-9300 ext. 3127.

How to Apply:

Contact Email:  agefriendly@simcoe.ca or contact Tracy Hill at Tracy.Hill@simcoe.ca or call (705) 726-9300 ext 3127.
