What is Reaching Home?

Reaching Home: The Government of Canada's Homelessness Strategy is a community-based program aimed at preventing and reducing homelessness across Canada by providing funding to local communities to help them address their local homelessness needs.

In Simcoe County, the Designated Communities stream of Reaching Home funding is administered by the County of Simcoe, as the Community Entity (CE), covering the geographic area of Simcoe County.

How to apply for Designated Communities funding in Simcoe County

Organizations within Simcoe County can apply for Reaching Home Designated Community funding through the County of Simcoe, as the Community Entity, to support the priorities identified in the Barrie-Simcoe Community Plan 2019-2024.
