The County of Simcoe Paramedic Services periodically runs Save-A-Life CPR Days. In this free training, participants will receive instruction and certification in the Heart & Stroke Foundation’s Heartsaver® CPR course. This course includes adult and child CPR, AED and choking modules. There is no cost to attend the event, but participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the food bank.
During the June 3, 2017 Save-A-Life CPR day which took place at Lampman Lane Recreation Centre in Barrie, 95 members of the public were certified in the life-saving skills of CPR and defibrillation. Participants at this event also donated 379 lbs of food and $111.70 in cash in support of the local food bank.
Our next Save-A-Life CPR event will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 2940 - 10th Side Road, Bradford.
