The County of Simcoe Paramedic Services periodically runs Save-A-Life CPR Days. During this free training, participants will receive Level A CPR/AED certification. This course includes adult and child CPR, AED and choking modules. There is no cost to attend the event, but participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the food bank.
During the June 2, 2018 Save-A-Life CPR day which took place at the Simcoe County Museum, 55 members of the public were certified in the life-saving skills of CPR and defibrillation. Participants at this event also donated 209 lbs of food and $95.00 in cash in support of the local food bank.
Our next Save-A-Life CPR event will take place on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Angus Recreation Centre, 8529 County Road 10, Angus. Event details and online registration will be available on this webpage on Wednesday, October 24.
