Save-A-Life CPR Day

The County of Simcoe Paramedic Services periodically runs Save-A-Life CPR Days. In this free training, participants will receive instruction and certification in the Heart & Stroke Foundation’s Heartsaver® CPR course.  This course includes adult and child CPR, AED and choking modules. There is no cost to attend the event, but participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the food bank.

During the February 10, 2018 Save-A-Life CPR day which took place at Stayner Community Centre, 82 members of the public were certified in the life-saving skills of CPR and defibrillation.  Participants at this event also donated 372 lbs of food and $170.00 in cash in support of the local food bank.

Our next Save-A-Life CPR event will take place at the end of May 2018 during Paramedic Services Week.  The event will be held in Barrie - more details to follow.  Registration will open one month prior.
