About Simcoe County LINX

Simcoe County LINX is a conventional public transit system that links major urban hubs and local transit services in the County of Simcoe. The LINX transit system provides citizens and visitors reliable and courteous transit system in clean, safe and accessible vehicles.

New Route as August 2021

Route 6 serving Midland to Orillia, with stops in stops in Victoria Harbour, Waubaushene, Coldwater, and Warminster.​  

Future routes are under consideration. 

Transit fares can be paid with cash or a reloadable LINX Card.

​​How to reload my card?

Taking the bus in the County is simple with our smart transit technology allowing you to plan your trip using our Trip Planning tool which gives you information in real-time. There are many new and convenient features available to our customers now to help them plan their trip while at home, work or on the go.

For residents along the new routes who are unable to board LINX buses due to a physical or functional disability, specialized Transit service LINX Plus (LINX+) is provided.  LINX+ is a pre-arranged door-to-door and/or service to and from conventional transit for registered users along routes 1 through 6.
