Financial Information

The County of Simcoe's financial information is available to the public in the form of credit ratings, budgets, and financial reports. This information can help businesses make an informed decision about investing in the County of Simcoe.

The consolidated financial statements have been prepared by management in accordance with Canadian Public Sector Accounting Standards.

The County's Council is responsible for ensuring that management fulfills its responsibility for financial reporting and is ultimately responsible for reviewing and approving financial statements.

The consolidated financial statements have been audited in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards.

Municipal Performance Measurement Program (MPMP)

The MPMP requires all Ontario municipalities to file an annual report to the Province and to the public, setting out performance data on solid waste, sewers, water, transportation (roads and public transit), fire, police, land use, planning and general government.
