Due to the escalating spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), effective March 19th all Ontario Works offices will no longer be accepting paper documentation. As a result of this measure, all income reporting requirements and the requirement to submit outstanding documents/verification have been waived until further notice. Please note that you're monthly financial assistance will not be impacted by this increased measure, regardless if you receive funds by cheque or direct bank deposit.
All Ontario Works and Children Services appointments will continue to be completed by telephone, and not in-person at one of our local offices. If you have travelled out of Country in the past 14 days, or have come into contact with someone who has, or are feeling unwell, please refrain from attending any of our offices in-person.
