The County of Simcoe Paramedic Services periodically runs Save-A-Life CPR Days. During this free training, participants will receive Level A CPR/AED certification. This course includes adult and child CPR, AED and choking modules. There is no cost to attend the event, but participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the food bank.
During the May 25, 2019 Save-A-Life CPR day which took place at the East Bayfield Community Centre in Barrie, 100 members of the public were certified in the life-saving skills of CPR and defibrillation. Participants at this event also donated 600 lbs of food and $120.00 cash in support of the local food bank.
Our next Save-a-Life CPR day will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. The event will be held at the Elmvale Community Hall, 33 Queen Street West, Elmvale. Registration for this free training event can be completed by by clicking here.
