Was Greenlands mapping considered? Page ContentYes. Consideration of the Greenlands and, in addition, many of the features and functions that make up the Greenlands designation (notably significant wetlands, Species at Risk, and Areas of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSIs)) were considered during the siting process. It was not considered exclusionary, however, as development on Greenlands is not precluded. It requires additional consultation and a scoped Environmental Impact Study (EIS). As part of the EIS, development of the property must demonstrate no negative impact to site natural heritage features and ecological function. Home Environmental Resource Recovery Centre
