Plan of Subdivision Redline Revision - Heritage Village - Township of Springwater

The County of Simcoe has recently received a complete draft plan of subdivision application for the subject lands. 


The subject property is approximately 53 hectares (130 acres) in size and is located within the Hillsdale Settlement Area.  The draft plan of subdivision was approved by the Ontario Municipal Board in April 2008 and consisted of 473 residential lots (346 single detached, 127 townhomes).

The redline revision proposes to reduce the total number of lots from 473 to 232.  The proposed redline development consists of 210 single detached lots at 15.2 m frontage and 22 single detached lots at 18.3 m frontage.  No townhomes are proposed in the redline.  Additional modifications have been made to the internal streets, stormwater management pond, communal septic bed, noise block/buffers, storm swale/access road, and MTO storm flows channel. 

County of Simcoe staff has commenced review of the application and has circulated the application materials to the prescribed persons, public agencies and aboriginal communities for review and comment.

Please note that the required statutory public meeting will be held on a date to be determined and that further notice of this meeting will be provided in accordance with the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13. and will also be posted to this website.
