Book a Visit to a Long-Term Care Home

TBook a Visit

Please note, outbreak and/or enhanced surveillance measures may have an impact on a home/homes areas Visitor Policy. If unsure if this impacts your planned visit, please contact the home directly.

When you book your visit, please book separately for each visitor, to a maximum of three visitors (including both general visitors and essential caregivers) per resident at a time.

All visitors are required to wear the PPE as provided by the home. It is recommended that you arrive at the home a minimum of 10 minutes prior to your scheduled visit to complete active screening and antigen testing. All individuals must pass screening in order to visit with your loved one.

As per the Province, visitors are also required to provide proof of “full" vaccination (two doses).

All visitors must strictly adhere to Ministry Long-Term Care safety requirements:

  • Take notice of availability of visit times and plan your visit accordingly
  • Visitors are encouraged to consider limiting their visits to one hour to allow as many residents and visitors to enjoy time together as possible
  • Visitors require a negative antigen test the day of the visit. Antigen tests are performed at the Home during the screening process.
