County of Simcoe to Receive National Forestry Award


Midhurst/September 14, 2021 – On September 17 at 3:30 p.m., media partners are invited to join Warden George Cornell, Deputy Warden Lynn Dollin, and County of Simcoe Forestry staff at the Simcoe County Museum as the County is presented with a prestigious national award from Canadian Institute of Forestry (CIF).  

This event kicks off National Forest Week, which runs September 19 to 25, and coincides with Simcoe County Forests' 100th anniversary celebrations, which will occur in 2022.
