About Digital Health
Digital Health initiatives are underway across the province from on-line appointment booking to see a primary care provider to seamless transitions across the health care system. At the County of Simcoe, the Digital Health Coordinator is working to support the realization of digital health technologies and services in Long-Term Care Homes (LTCHs) and Senior Services (SS) that are grounded in the quadruple aim and Digital First for Health Strategy.
The Digital Health Coordinator is a registered nurse working at a clinical level to support realization of virtual care such as OTN, support implementation of projects or initiative within the LTCHs and SS. In addition to working with LTCHs, this role works in collaboration with regional Ontario Health Teams (OHT) and Ontario Health Digital Health team.
