It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Long-Term Care and Seniors Services celebrate the 12 days of Christmas

Midhurst/December 14, 2022 – On December 12, the County of Simcoe’s four Long-Term Care and Seniors Services homes kicked off the 12 days of Christmas, an opportunity to share the Christmas spirit with their residents.

Staff at Georgian Manor in Penetanguishene, Simcoe Manor in Beeton, Sunset Manor in Collingwood, and Trillium Manor in Orillia (the County’s four Long-Term Care and Seniors Services facilities), were hard at work planning 12 unique activities that provide residents with a chance to embrace and celebrate the festive season.

Activities range from Christmas carolling and cookie decorating, to a Christmas movie matinee and winter-themed games, with each home tailoring individual activities to suit the needs, interests and abilities of their residents.

The festivities will wrap up on with a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas or a visit with Santa Claus.

County of Simcoe is composed of sixteen member municipalities and provides crucial public services to County residents in addition to providing paramedic and social services to the separated cities of Barrie and Orillia. Visit our website at simcoe.ca.
