Notes

  • It is assumed that all vehicles will be within the legal weight range under the HTA, as it is too difficult to determine the combination of axle weights that may apply.  If a person knows that they are overweight, they must supply a complete axle weight diagram showing the weights per axle or axle combination.
  • All Annual Oversized Load Permits are based on calendar year (Jan. – Dec.), not on issuance date.
  • All Single Oversized Load Permits are issued for only 3 consecutive days, with weekend travel upon approval.
  • Seasonal Load Restrictions from March 1st to April 30th (limited to 5 tonnes per axle).

PLEASE NOTE: TO AVOID DELAYS A MINIMUM OF 5 BUSINESS DAYS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A PERMIT AND NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE PROCESSED UNTIL ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION IS RECEIVED.
