Save-A-Life CPR Day

The County of Simcoe Paramedic Services periodically runs Save-A-Life CPR Days. In this free training, participants will receive instruction and certification in the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s CPR level- A course.  This course includes adult and child CPR, AED and choking modules. There is no cost to attend the event, but participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the food bank.

During the November 26, 2016 Save-A-Life CPR day which took place at the Alliston Legion, 92 members of the public were certified in the life-saving skills of CPR and defibrillation.  Participants at this event also donated 555 lbs of food and $165 in cash in support of the local food bank.
