The County of Simcoe Paramedic Services periodically runs Save-A-Life CPR Days. In this free training, participants will receive instruction and certification in the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s CPR level- A course. This course includes adult and child CPR, AED and choking modules. There is no cost to attend the event, but participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the food bank.
At the last Save-A-Life CPR day in Atherley, 468 lbs of food and $68 in donations were collected for the Sharing Place foodbank. At this event we certified 80 members of the public in the life-saving skills of CPR and defibrillation.
