Other Committees and Boards
In addition to the Performance Management, Human Services, and Corporate Services Committee, there are several other internal Committees and Boards that report to County Council.
The Governance and Striking Committees report directly to County Council.
The Simcoe County Social Housing Corporation was established to administer the County of Simcoe's Social Housing Program. This Corporation is made up of a Board and Shareholders. The Board consists of the members of the Human Services Committee, and County Council forms the Shareholders of the Corporation. Board meetings are held during regular meetings of the Human Services Committee, and the actions of the Board are ratified by the Shareholders.
