The County of Simcoe’s Economic Development Office is responsible for the attraction, retention, and expansion of businesses and business opportunities within Simcoe County. The Economic Development Office works with Simcoe County's sixteen municipalities, the Cities of Barrie and Orillia, and with other business service providers to help businesses thrive and grow.
The County of Simcoe’s Economic Development Office promotes Simcoe County by communicating with national and international business leaders, as well as economic development officials within our provincial and federal levels of governments, to showcase the benefits of our region as a location for new investment. The office also compiles and maintains relevant economic data and community statistics to assist in business decision making process.
